These are age-appropriate, hands-on project & activity based workshops; that explore cells, osmosis, major organs, and organ systems. Through interactive demonstrations, microscopic observations, and group projects students will discover the unique inner world of human anatomy. Projects include, but are not limited to, building cell models, creating osmosis lamps, blood sensory bottles, Circulatory & Respiratory System replicas, joint & tendon sensory boards, and list goes on. At the completion of this 8 week course, students will have a chance to display what they have learned through community engagement events and science fairs. Students will also be able to identify the characteristics of all living things, the 12 body systems & their functions, and the meals that promote optimal body function.
